The FeedSweep API lets you embed FeedSweep widgets in your own web pages. You must
have a User Account on FeedSweep to obtain an API key. The API key is not required
to be included in your FeedSweep widget at this point, however this will be
a mandatory requirement within a short while.
Here are some highlights from the terms for
those of you who aren't lawyers:
- At present, there is no limit on the number of page views you may
generate per day using the FeedSweep API. However, if you expect more than 100,000
page views per day, please contact us in advance
so we can ensure enough capacity to handle your traffic.
- You may not alter or obscure the FeedSweep logos or attribution without our permission.
- We will upgrade the API periodically and you may have to update your site as a result.
Our team will notify you of updates and if we make a non-backwards compatible change,
we will give you at least a month's notice to make the transition.
- There are some uses of the API that we just don't want to see. For instance,
we believe feed content is expensive to produce and we respect the Intellectual
and Copyright rights of others so we expect you to follow these same
high standards. Remember, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your
use of the service at any time.
Please read our Terms of Use.
